Anda Flamenco at The Fringe FestivalIt all started in 2002 with Kristina's premier flamenco comedy, Que Será, Será. An inventive combination of "energetic tangos and alegrias," Doris Day, and "de Sacramento's perfectly time duet with a flamenco skirt" (both quotes from City Pages), Que Será, Será won over Minnesotan hearts. Read more about the show here or take a look at the photo gallery. Next up was 2004's Doña Quixote. The hilarious trials and tribulations of a Minnesota woman obsessed with dancing flamenco in Spain was pre-selected as one of the year's "Best Bets" by Fringe executive director Leah Cooper and featured in the Wall Street Journal! You can read the whole story here or take a look at the photos. And coming in 2009 is Kristina's next comedic masterpiece: Madama Butterfly. Stay tuned for more information in the coming months.
