Initially, learning 12-count markings can be difficult, especially when we all grew up dancing to 4-or 8-count rhythms. So you have to just jump in and get your feet very wet, and it will come to you. But remember, nobody ever said it was going to be easy! Not easy, but oh so rewarding once you get over the hump!

In this class, we are working on Sevillanas, a must-know dance for all Andalusian Spaniards. Come and brush up on your Sevillanas if you know them, and if not, come and start learning, while getting help from those a little farther along in the life-long pursuit of mastering this dance! You'll never stand in the corner at a flamenco party once you've been bitten by the Sevillanas bug!

DIRECTIONS
Enter the Ivy Building at the door next to the Vine Arts sign. Take an immediate right (instead of using the staircase). Follow your nose to the elevator, and take it to floor 2 - your only choice. Follow your nose again until you can turn right, and go up the stairway inside the first door on your left. We are behind the red door. Welcome!
